Don’t forget that the Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th June will be a bank holiday in the UK.
The last May Day bank holiday which would normally be on the 28th May this year has been moved to the Monday 3rd June with an extra day added on the Tuesday.
Our clinic hours will change to accommodate this and any remaining appointment slots are likely to be in high demand.
Carlisle’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
There will be plenty of activities in the city to suit all ages from midday to 11pm.
A giant TV screen in Carlisle city centre will beam the Jubilee concert live from Buckingham Palace around 7.00pm
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert on Monday, 4 June will feature Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Jessie J, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones among many others.
Local bands will perform on stage all day leading up to the live screening of the concert along with lots of other activities, food stalls and Jubilee bar.
