RS Sport Orthotics

The rightstride® RS bespoke orthotics are made in co-polymer carbon, ultra durable, a blend of functional control and dynamic flexibility resulting in a Shell flex’s under loading while remaining semi rigid under normal load.

A solution to the most demanding sports footwear, rightstride® prides it self in it’s a huge range of different devices designed for superb shock attenuation and the ultimate in fit and flexibility.

RS Marathon Runner

RS marathon RS Sport OrthoticsMade on an RS carbon shell as a full length device or 3/4 length. The heel is made of dual density materials; hard EVA on the medial aspect of the heel and soft EVA on the lateral side.
Posts can be added to the device but due to the dual density heel, the orthotic is dynamically effective without additional control.
The soft EVA on the lateral border attenuates shock while the hard EVA on the medial border will slow or stop the pronatory moment, this can be extended distally for more control.

RS Football

RS football RS Sport OrthoticsThe most demanding footwear in sport today, the football boot is often worn too tight with little regard to the condition of the foot inside.
This device has been thinned into the shank and is made of a flexible polypropylene, thus allowing good control while conforming to the needs of the player.
Covered in a wear and water-resistant EVA this device really does offer a great compromise between form and function.

RS Sprinter

RS sprinter RS Sport OrthoticsUsing a polycarbon shell, these devices are made to offer on toe shock absorption with great mid-foot control.
The flex point is located slightly more distally to allow great rearfoot stability.
As a standard this device also incorporates a Plantar Metatarsal Pad supporting metatarsals 2-5

RS Golf

RS golf RS Sport OrthoticsA device made to work with the unique pressures and movements that a golf swing places on the feet and legs, allowing the natural contra-lateral foot movement, essential in the golf swing, this is just the start of this device’s design characteristics.
Made on a flexible polypropylene shell with a poron arch infill to increase shock attenuation without bulk and a shallow heel cup to ensure that the foot is not raised up too much in the heel of the shoe to eliminate the risk of blisters forming.

RS On Court

RS on court RS Sport OrthoticsUsing a RS carbon shell, which has been filled under the arch then covered with thin poron top, under an elite top cover. This device is aimed at high impact sports such as basketball and badminton.
This orthotic offers maximum shock attenuation whilst not increasing the heat in the footwear.

RS Cyclist

RS cyclist RS Sport OrthoticsThe unique demands of cycling require a truly special orthotic device.
The shell is constructed from low density polypropylene and is shanked down to fit well inside the cycle cleat. The control here is located distally as the rider spends most of the time ‘on toe’. The heel control if needed is added intrinsically as no EVA heel is added to this device to minimise bulk.

RS Aerobics

RS aerobics RS Sport OrthoticsMade from highly durable but flexible carbon fibre, this device is particularly well suited to the high impact work in a gym setting.
The arch has been partly filled with low density poron to offer great shock attenuation value whilst not increasing in-shoe heat, as the padding is kept below the shell. The heel has a dual density post which can be tailored to a patients’ needs but the device can be worn as a neutral heel, as the softer EVA on the lateral border will naturally result in medial control, dynamically.

RS Snow

RS snow RS Sport OrthoticsThese devices are designed to fit directly into the most rigid ski boot. They have a deep heel cup on an almost rigid base, giving the best control available and holds the skier’s feet in the optimum position.
To ensure that knees don’t suffer too much, these devices have a thin layer of poron located just under the top cover to offer some level of shock attenuation and thermal insulation. However, if you would benefit from some more shock absorption then this device is also available in a more flexible shell.

RS Snowboard

RS snowboard RS Sport OrthoticsA semi-rigid EVA shell with a deep heel cup offers great in-boot control. This is married to a medium density top cover that provides shock absorption for the wearer in this demanding environment.
As standard, there is a layer of material between the shell and the top cover to act as a thermal insulator.
Finally, the device has a 2mm extrinsic heel raise to protect the Achilles Tendons in these flat boots, plus a fabric tab to allow easy removal of the device from the boot.

RS Ice

RS ice RS Sport OrthoticsAn exacting orthotic for a demanding application, this device has been created to fit inside an ice skaters or ice hockey boot, it is as standard a 3/4 length device which is milled with a very narrow shank.
Made of polypropylene, it remains flexible without the need for the introduction of any bulky materials.
Posting can be added either as an EVA post or it can be milled into the device.
