Mr. Manoj Krishna. Consultant Spinal Surgeon

With over 13 years’ experience as a spinal consultant, Mr Krishna treats the full range of adult spinal problems, including the neck, and lower back.  He has a keen interest in research and the development of new approaches to back pain.

Manoj Krishna believes that every human being has a right to a life without pain and aim to provide the best spine care possible, anywhere in the world.  He currently performs more than 250 major spinal operations a year.

He founded the Spinal Support Group in Tees Valley and York.

Having completed his basic medical and orthopaedic training in Pune, India. Mr Krishna came to Britain in 1989 for more orthopaedic training. In 1993, he left to accomplish a year’s spinal surgical training in Brisbane, Australia.

From Brisbane, he then spent 6 months in Hong Kong as a Spinal Fellow in the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital, before finishing his spinal surgery training with a 10 month spinal surgery Fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, UK.
